Ótimas surpresas do Fotolog
lightpainter,
com a legenda:
"Me, onstage at Woodstock 99. I worked on the medical team. "

Hi lightpainter ! I can see why you are so good with the camera. We are from the same generation ! Maybe you grew up reading all of those great Popular Photography Annual Editions in the sixties and seventies !!!! Not to mention ... The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Byrds, and all that stuff !

I got started reading the Time/LIfe Series of Photography....I read the whole series from cover to cover while I was waiting for my Pentax Spotmatic II to arrive from Hong Kong. I was managing a book store at the Watergate in Washington. One day when I got to work there were DC Police mobile crime vehicles around and quite a bit of activity. Little did I know at the time that this was the beginning of the end for Richard Nixon.

Wow !!!I still have the Time/Life Library of Photography (1970 edition). I adore it !!! I didn`t read it from cover to cover, but saw EVERY photo a thousand times !!! It Was one of my first investments when I began to work !!! Watergate ? I read everything about it ! We were under a military government. All the politics we had in the newspapers were about (some) international affairs... And you (almost) saw those things happening !
PS. Apesar de sermos quase contemporâneos, ele está bem mais acabado do que eu, he, he, he.
